Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Snow Equipment Operator to perform safe and efficient snow removal using snowplows and heavy equipment during winter. You will clear designated areas and respond promptly to snow events, performing related tasks as needed.

The role requires physical endurance for prolonged outdoor work, ability to travel between sites, and strict adherence to safety and reporting protocols. Join a team that keeps communities accessible during winter weather.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to travel to multiple sites.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Prior experience operating snowplow equipment.
• Participate in routine equipment maintenance.
• Experience in fast-paced production environments.
• Must be physically able to work outside in extreme weather.
• Ability to safely operate equipment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willing to dress for all weather conditions.
• Able to work overnight in winter months.

Responsibilities

• Remove snow using snowplow and heavy equipment, for extended periods.
• Be available to report to work each time it snows.
• Deposit removed snow without obstructing trees, hydrants, or sidewalks.
• Identify and report concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain timely job sheets after each operation.
• Report safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
