Job summary

Grand Targhee Resort in Alta, Wyoming, is seeking a Winter Seasonal Facilities Supervisor to coordinate a snow removal crew of 2–8 people. You will oversee operations to keep walkways, decks, stairways, and public areas clear for guests and staff, while addressing overhead hazards and performing rooftop snow and ice dam removal as needed.

You will report to the Facilities Manager, assign daily tasks, ensure safety protocols, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior supervisory/foreman experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills to interact with guests.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with Facilities Manager to prioritize and delegate daily tasks.
• Maintains safe access in public areas via shoveling, chipping, sanding, and snow blowing.
• Clears snow to maintain access to emergency exits in base areas.
• Identify and maintain overhead hazards in base area including icicles, cornices, and roof slide areas.
• Performs rooftop snow removal and ice dam removal following fall protection protocols.
• Works at heights and uses ladders safely; ensures crew adheres to safety protocols.
• Follows supervisor instructions and collaborates with team to complete tasks.
• Maintains and accounts for tools and equipment used daily.
• Communicates equipment issues to supervisor; handles damaged fall protection gear and snowblower issues.
• Maintains a professional, courteous attitude toward guests and coworkers.
