Job summary

Schill Grounds Management is seeking a Snow Crew Member to support snow removal operations with a flexible, on-call schedule. The Snow Shoveler performs snow removal using a manual shovel or equipment and assists with salt spreading and storefront clearing.

The role requires outdoor work in diverse winter conditions, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and willingness to travel to branches. Night/weekend availability may be required.

• Operate small snow blowers.
• Operate walk behind snow sweepers.
• Monitor weather correspondence and be aware of upcoming snow events.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job description

A Snow Crew Memberis a flexible schedule position, on call as needed. Snow shovelers are responsible for snow removal with either a manual shovel or snow removal equipment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Must be able to drive to the work site or branch in adverse weather conditions
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 60 pounds consistently

WORK CONDITIONS

Employees performing this job should be able and willing to drive or travel locally, if needed. Schedules for this position may vary and may require flexibility to work extended hours. Potential work hours during the snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays to participate in snow removal activities. This position will require working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including rain, snow, ice, sun, and extreme cold.
