Job summary

Schill Grounds Management seeks a Snow Crew Member in Columbus, OH for a flexible, on-call winter role. As a Snow Shoveler you will remove snow with a shovel or equipment and support storefronts with salting and clearing entrances.

Candidates must pass a drug/alcohol test, be able to drive to the site in poor weather, and lift up to 60 pounds. Night, weekend, and holiday hours may apply.

• Remove snow from storefronts using awning rakes.
• Operate small snow blowers.
• Operate walk behind snow sweepers.
• Monitor weather correspondence and be aware of upcoming snow events.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job description

A Snow Crew Memberis a flexible schedule position, on call as needed. Snow shovelers are responsible for snow removal with either a manual shovel or snow removal equipment.

WORK CONDITIONS

Employees performing this job should be able and willing to drive or travel locally, if needed. Schedules for this position may vary and may require flexibility to work extended hours. Potential work hours during the snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays to participate in snow removal activities. This position will require working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including rain, snow, ice, sun, and extreme cold.
