Job summary

Beary Landscaping seeks Snow Crew Members for the winter season to perform snow and ice removal on commercial, municipal, and residential properties. Work includes shoveling, snow blowing, and spreading de-icer, with on-call shifts including overnight, weekends, and holidays.

Employees must be able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in cold conditions; safety gear is provided or approved by Beary Landscaping. Training is provided for those without prior snow removal experience.

Qualifications

• Prior snow removal or landscaping experience preferred; training provided.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; reliable transportation required.
• Strong work ethic and reliability; dependable during storms.
• Able to work in cold, snowy, icy weather for extended periods.
• Team player who takes directions well and communicates clearly.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Able to lift 50 lbs or more; outdoor labor in all weather.
• On-call work during snow/ice events, including overnight, weekend, holidays.
• Long hours during major weather events.
• Wear proper winter and safety gear provided or approved.

• Clear sidewalks, entryways, and walkways using shovels, snow blowers, and other hand tools.
• Assist with loading and spreading de-icing materials (salt, sand, calcium chloride, etc.).
• Support heavy equipment operators and truck drivers during snow events.
• Maintain safe work practices in all weather conditions.
• Follow all instructions from crew leaders or site supervisors to ensure timely and complete service.
• Report any safety hazards, property damage, or equipment issues immediately.
• Help clean and maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment before and after snow events.
