Job summary

Breckenridge Ski Resort is seeking a Snow Cat Operator to groom and prepare snow surfaces for the skiing guests. You will learn to operate some of the coolest equipment in the ski industry while ensuring trails are perfectly groomed for daily use.

The role requires self-motivation and meticulous attention to detail, with a starting wage between $20 and $23 per hour. This on-site seasonal position offers housing options and a path to training and advancement in mountain operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy machinery.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Climb in and out of the machine safely.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of grooming equipment.
• Prepare and groom ski area trails and surfaces.
• Work collaboratively with others.
• Minimize downtime through preventive maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of machines.
• Other duties as assigned.
