Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated nursing assistant responsible for providing routine nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures. The role involves working under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator to ensure the highest quality resident care.

Qualifications
  • Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a CNA or clinical experience during certification training.
  • Genuine desire to serve the ill, aged, and infirm.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to interact tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and the public.
  • Willingness to work harmoniously with team members.
  • Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and maturity to handle residents appropriately.
  • Good health and emotional stability.
  • Ability to relate to and work with residents who are ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, or occasionally hostile.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform duties as assigned, following facility policies, nursing care procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Make resident rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours to administer care.
  • Verify resident identity before providing care or serving food.
  • Report missing ID bands immediately.
  • Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
  • Ensure water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh water, and within residents' reach.
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.
