At BT your main responsibilities will include working directly with the project managers and clients in relation to SNF billing and collection services. What You Will Do
  • Be a trusted member of the engagement team and responsible for:
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SNF reimbursement including Medicare and Medicaid (MD, OH, PA, WV) and related SNF matters.
    • Manage processes for collection and maintenance of resident data, including resident statement accuracy, aging review, payment posting, ancillary charge entry and file downloads, and timely billing.
    • Assist with managing all accounts receivable, including follow-up of unpaid balances.
    • Adhere to financial/facility policies and procedures and participate in facility programs as needed.
    • Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
    • Maintain adequate documentation of all accounts receivable accounting transactions.
    • Assist with yearly budget preparation.
    • Assist with month-end close processes, provide monthly financial information to facility representatives, and prepare AR reports as directed.
    • Assist in preparing AR reports for Medicare/Medicaid cost reports.
    • Attend and participate in continuing education programs to stay current on SNF reimbursement changes.
    • Assist/participate in establishing compliance programs.
    • Demonstrate advanced communication skills, including strong verbal and written communication.
    • Demonstrate time management and the ability to multi-task and meet established timelines.
  • Learn and grow from direct coaching and mentoring and participate in firm-wide learning and development programs.
  • Leverage entrepreneurial skills to network and build relationships internally and externally with clients.

Successful Candidates Will Have
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in accounting or business-related field preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Currently in a billing role with 5 years of billing experience.
  • 5 or more years of SNF Medicare and Medicaid (MD, OH, PA, WV) billing experience; knowledge of LTC billing regulations preferred.
  • Experience using the Medicare system for billing and interpreting reports/remits.
  • Experience using billing software (e.g., PointClickCare, MatrixCare).
  • Knowledge of Medicaid systems and websites; working knowledge of SNF billing and collections.
  • Position subject to Criminal Background Investigation.
  • Strong time management, communication, interpersonal, collaboration, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Compensation range for this role is $65,560 to $124,300. Actual compensation is influenced by factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
