Job summary

Medical Director Services PC (MDS PC) is hiring an Attending Physician (MD/DO) to care for SNF residents at a facility in Lafayette Hill, PA. The role offers a competitive salary, malpractice coverage, and a path for growth within a physician-led SNF-focused group.

The APP-led model expands census and RVU opportunities, with leadership potential including medical directorships as experience grows.

Qualifications

• Active NYS medical license.
• Current DEA registration in good standing.
• Up to date CME requirements.
• Experience in SNF/long-term care settings preferred.
• Comfort working with a culturally and linguistically diverse resident population.

Responsibilities

• Perform admissions, monthly, acute and routine visits for SNF residents.
• Collaborate with APPs on units and manage medications with oversight on polypharmacy.
• Lead care and discharge planning and staff education.
• Support the facility through regulatory and survey site visits.
• Coordinate with local hospitals to ensure continuity of care.
