We are a locally owned full-service grocery store dedicated to providing accessible, reliable, and safe products and services to our community. This is a pool job ad for current and future hiring needs across all departments, for both full-time and part-time positions. Schedules and starting pay rates vary based on store needs, department, and experience.

Examples of Duties Include:

• Monitoring product quality and freshness, ensuring proper rotation.
• Maintaining clean and well-stocked shelves and cases.
• Completing spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep logs as required.
• Assisting with inventory checks.
• Being punctual, well-groomed, and prepared for scheduled shifts, trainings, and meetings.
• Providing excellent customer service, addressing customer needs promptly, and using suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizing sales through proper product prep, storage, rotation, and merchandising.
• Following safety, sanitation, and health procedures, including Weights and Measures standards.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary workspace and ensuring equipment safety and cleanliness.
• Ensuring signage and pricing accuracy.
• Reporting safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.

• Basic product knowledge and ability to assess product quality.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift.
• Use of hands for grasping, manipulating, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and cold/wet environments.
• Safe operation of tools and heavy machinery, including box cutters, forklifts, and pallet jacks.

Experience:
