Job Description

We are seeking a SharePoint Developer / Web Designer to support our federal client in Washington, DC. This role involves broad software development responsibilities, including custom application development for sandboxed solutions, systems integration, and web part development. Responsibilities include customizing SharePoint solutions, re-branding, and some programming using tools like SharePoint Designer. The key responsibilities are:

  • Participate in project planning, requirements gathering, analysis, resource, and infrastructure planning.
  • Deep understanding of SharePoint 2007, 2010, 2013, and 2016.
  • Provide technical details for SDLC, privacy, and security documentation.
  • Create flowcharts, wireframes, and presentations to convey technical information.
  • Demonstrate prototypes and concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Perform coding and SharePoint configuration as needed.
Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of SharePoint 2007/2010/2013/2016 features and best practices.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint deployment.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level SharePoint solutions.
  • Experience with SharePoint migrations (e.g., 2007 to 2013) and website migrations to SharePoint 2013.
  • Planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Proficiency with SQL Server 2008/2012/2016.
  • Hands-on .NET development experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with federal SDLC, privacy, accessibility, and security standards.
  • Relevant SharePoint certifications.
  • Security clearance or active public trust (minimum).
