Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced SMT operator for the 1st shift in Warwick, RI. You will be responsible for setup, operation, and maintenance of SMT processes and equipment under the direction of the Production Supervisor.

You will read process docs, produce the first piece for approval, and ensure high quality output while inspecting your own work and documenting maintenance tasks. Cooperation with AOI for quality issues is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years SMT experience, preferably with MyData equipment.
• Certified IPC Specialist and/or proven ability to meet qualifications.
• Knowledge of J-STD/IPC standards.
• Knowledge of component identification.

Responsibilities

• Setup SMT and related equipment and read/process documentation.
• Produce and submit 1st piece for approval.
• Operate equipment to ensure high quality output.
• Inspect own work, detect defects, and maintain quality levels.
• Hand place components and maintain equipment.
• Complete maintenance and process documentation.
• Work with AOI to identify and resolve quality issues.
