Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced SMT Operator to lead surface mount technology operations within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. This role oversees a team of operators and technicians, drives production performance, and ensures product quality to meet delivery requirements.

The position is 2nd shift with an hourly rate of $28–$31 and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO and sick leave. Exponential growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SMT/PCBA manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of SMT equipment and processes.
• Experience with IPC standards and electronics assembly best practices.
• Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and production schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise SMT/PCB assembly line operations.
• Lead and develop SMT operators and technicians.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high quality and efficiency.
• Monitor throughput, uptime, scrap, and FPY.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with engineering.
• Support setups, changeovers, line balancing.
• Enforce IPC and ESD standards.
• Support NPI activities and process validation.
• Drive Lean continuous improvement.
