Jobot is seeking an SMT Programming Engineer in Beacon Falls, CT, to develop and optimize production SMT programs for a high-performance PCB/PCBA environment. You will translate CAD data, BOMs, and assembly drawings into precise machine programs, improving cycle time and line efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 3–8+ years of SMT programming experience, strong Fuji and Nexim skills, and ITAR eligibility. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 3–8+ years SMT programming in PCB/PCBA manufacturing.
• Expertise with Fuji SMT platforms and Nexim software.
• ITAR eligibility; experience in ITAR-regulated environments is a strong plus.
• Experience with CAD data, Gerbers, BOMs and assembly prints.

Responsabilités

• Develop, create, and maintain SMT programs using Fuji platforms and Nexim software.
• Translate technical data (CAD, BOMs, drawings) into production SMT programs.
• Ensure data integrity and program accuracy to support high-quality production output.
• Optimize SMT programs to improve cycle times, placement accuracy, and line efficiency.
• Troubleshoot programming and machine issues with Production and Process Engineering teams.
• Support NPI by generating and validating SMT programs; maintain libraries and revision controls.
