Job summary

Quintech Electronics and Communications, Inc. is seeking an SMT Programmer to create, update and maintain SMT programs for AOI, SPI machines and related equipment, ensuring all programs are current and ECOs are implemented.

The role is a full-time position on a 5/8 schedule, in-person only, located at Quintech's Indiana, PA headquarters.

Qualifications

• Experience with Panasonic data generation software.
• Familiarity with Mentor Graphics PCB design software.
• Experience with Gerber viewers/editing software.
• Experience with Panasonic placement machine.
• Familiarity with Koh Young AOI and SPI equipment.

Responsibilities

• Program, optimize and support manufacturing.
• Develop and implement a plan to eliminate on-line program debugging.
• Root cause analyses of defects.
• Read and follow work instructions, company standards and procedures.
• Perform tasks with high degree of care and attention to detail.
• Ensure all programs are up to date and error free.
• Transfer programs from database to SMT machines in a timely manner to improve SMT efficiency.
• Perform other related tasks and overtime as needed.

Job description

Quintech Electronics and Communications, Inc. is seeking a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Programmer whose main responsibilities will include creating, updating and maintaining SMT programs including AOI, SPI machines. This role will ensure all programs are up to date and verify ECO’s (Engineering change orders).

This position is full time – 5/8 schedule (7:00AM-3:30PM) - In Person Only

Located at our Quintech Electronics headquarters location in Indiana, PA!

Additional Duties:

• Program, optimization and support manufacturing
• Develop and implement a plan to eliminate on line program debug
• Root cause Defect analyses
• Read and follow work instructions, company standards and procedures.
• Perform tasks with high degree of care and attention to detail.
• Ensure all programs are up to date, and error free.
• Program transfers from computer database to SMT machines in a timely manner to help improve SMT efficiency.
• Perform other related tasks that are assigned and work overtime as needed.

Experience working with or familiar with similar software & equipment:

• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
