Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up SMT equipment (Screen Printers, Pick N Place, Reflow Ovens).
• Perform machine setup/tear down and cleanup per procedures.
• Document and maintain quality records for machine setup and inspections.
• Conduct visual inspections of SMT assemblies and identify issues.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and communicate status to SMT staff/Production Supervisor.
• Collaborate with team to improve quality and efficiency.

Job Function:

• Must be familiar with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT).
• Ability to identify component packages and values.
• Must be able to set-up and operate automated SMT assembly equipment including Screen Printers, Pick N Place, and Reflow Ovens (Training Available).
• Perform machine set-up/tear down and cleanup according to procedures.
• Document and maintain quality records for machine set up, feeder exchanges and 1st Article inspection results according to procedures.
• Able to perform visual inspections of SMT Assemblies.
• Maintain a clean and orderly working area.
• Communicate machine operation status and errors to SMT Support Staff./Production Supervisor.
• Work with other team members to implement quality and performance improvement.
