Foxconn Industrial Internet (Fii) is seeking an SMT Feeder Set Up professional in San Jose, CA. You will prepare and verify SMT feeders, load components, and validate feeder configurations to support efficient line changes.

Collaboration with Production, PM, and Warehouse teams is essential. The role requires at least a high school diploma, 1–3 years in SMT/electronics assembly, and a focus on accuracy and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• SMT feeder setup and material verification.
• Interpret BOMs and work orders to ensure correct parts and quantities.
• Follow ESD rules and proper component handling.
• Basic troubleshooting of feeder jams and misfeeds.
• Maintain organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Coordinate with Production, PM, and Warehouse teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up SMT feeders according to production schedules, work orders, and BOM requirements.
• Load, verify, and stage components to ensure correct part numbers and quantities.
• Perform feeder validation and ensure proper configuration before line setup.
• Support SMT line changeovers to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Monitor feeder performance and troubleshoot misfeeds or jams.
• Maintain feeder inventory, labeling, and organization (kitting/staging).
• Ensure materials are handled per ESD and quality standards.
• Document setup activities and report discrepancies or shortages.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up SMT feeders according to production schedules, work orders, and BOM requirements
• Load, verify, and stage components (reels, trays) to ensure correct part numbers and quantities
• Perform feeder validation and ensure proper configuration before line setup
• Support SMT line changeovers to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
• Monitor feeder performance and troubleshoot issues such as misfeeds or jams
• Maintain feeder inventory, labeling, and organization (kitting/staging areas)
• Ensure all materials are handled in compliance with ESD and quality standards
• Coordinate with Production, PM, and Warehouse teams to ensure material readiness
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of feeders
• Accurately document setup activities and report discrepancies or shortages

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ERP or Shop Floor Control (SFC) systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of experience in SMT, PCBA manufacturing, or electronics assembly preferred
• Language: English proficiency required, Vietnamese is a plus
