Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC in San Jose is seeking a PCBA Mechanical Assembler for the Day Shift to join our CESBG production line. You will assemble mechanical pieces using hand and power tools, following detailed instructions and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in contract manufacturing, and strong English skills; Mandarin is a plus. This is a non-exempt, on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Summary
As a Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for the assembly of mechanical pieces and being an integral part of our Production line. You will be responsible for functions that include using hand and power tools, following detailed assembly instructions, and contributing to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Other duties may include assisting team members in ad-hoc projects such as assembling tables, transferring heavy material to different locations, and providing support for other manufacturing departments.
Key Responsibilities

• Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble units
• Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
• Inspection cosmetic chassis defect before installing PCBA
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Mandarin/Vietnamese proficiency is highly preferred.

Education and Experience

• EDUCATION:High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a contract manufacturing environment
• LANGUAGE:English proficiency is required, Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
