Job Title: SMT & Back-End Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented SMT & Back-End Operator to support electronic manufacturing operations in Alpharetta, GA. This is a direct hire opportunity for someone who can operate SMT and back-end assembly equipment, ensuring proper component placement and product quality across the production line.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support SMT equipment, including screen printers, Pick & Place machines, reflow ovens, and AOI systems; load and verify feeders, components, and consumables.
• Monitor SMT process flow, identify abnormalities or defects, and make basic machine adjustments as needed.
• Operate AOI machines, repair/flag defective units, and segregate defective material from repairable material.
• Support conventional (PTH) assembly lines, wave soldering, and in-line touch-up/repair.
• Perform manual soldering and testing of electronic cards using ICT and functional test equipment.
• Package finished goods per customer, quality, and shipping requirements; verify labeling and quantity before shipment.
• Record production data, complete logs/checklists, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Basic manufacturing or production experience, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ESD practices and electronic assembly standards.
• Ability to navigate computer systems and enter production data.
• English proficiency; Spanish language a plus.

Work Conditions

This position requires standing approximately 90% of the time and moving distances of around 35 meters daily. The role also involves carrying boxes weighing up to 10 kg between workstations at least once per day.
