Job summary

Ludlum Measurements, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Scaler - Assembly to join the Surface Mount team in Sweetwater, TX. You will load, operate, and maintain the surface mount machine, rotate to inspect equipment, and solder when replacing components.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated with keen attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills, and must be able to work in a full-time, in-person setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.
• Self-motivated with initiative.
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and BOMs to build blank circuit boards.
• Manage components for pick-and-place machines.
• Apply solder paste with stencils using a solder paste machine.
• Install parts on boards with automated pick-and-place equipment.
• Use AOI for quality checks to spot issues.
• Rework/repair boards by adding/removing components as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
