Job summary

Ludlum Measurements, Inc. in Sweetwater, TX is seeking a Scaler - Assembly to join our Surface Mount team. You will load, operate, and maintain the surface mount machine, rotate to other positions within the department, and perform detailed soldering as needed.

The candidate should be self-motivated with strong communication skills and the ability to read drawings and BOMs. We offer full-time, in-person employment with growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
• Self-motivated with initiative to complete work.
• Ability to learn, adapt and troubleshoot manufacturing processes.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and BOMs to build blank circuit boards.
• Manage components for the pick and place machine.
• Apply solder paste using stencils and a solder paste machine.
• Install parts on boards with automated pick and place equipment.
• Perform quality checks with an automated optical inspection machine.
• Rework/repair boards by adjusting components as required.
• All other job duties as assigned.
