Job Details

We are hiring a full-time Smoking Attendant to join our care team at Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich!
Shift: Monday-Friday 9a-5p, weekly pay at $18/hr.
Working with residents provides purpose in your professional and personal life.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with smoking, lighting materials, and transportation to and from the smoking area.
• Maintain a clean and safe smoking environment.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality.
• Contribute to positive resident and family relations.
• Follow facility policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions and handle emergency situations.
• Effective communication skills with personnel, residents, and visitors.
• Patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition.
• Willingness to learn and incorporate new methods.
• Familiarity with drug actions, interactions, and restorative nursing policies is preferred but not required.
