Qualifications

  • Reliable, punctual, and observant

  • Ability to walk, stand, or patrol for extended periods

Responsibilities
  • Patrol designated areas to monitor and prevent indoor smoking by residents

  • Intervene and redirect residents attempting to smoke inside the building

  • Escort residents to designated outdoor smoking areas when appropriate

  • Document and report incidents of non-compliance to supervisory staff

  • Maintain awareness of facility smoking policies and help reinforce them consistently

  • Work collaboratively with nursing, security, and administrative teams to promote a safe environment

  • Educate residents on facility rules and support compliance in a respectful manner
