Job summary

Constellis is seeking an automotive technician to perform state-regulated smog inspections and repairs at a busy service center. The role involves repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining gasoline-powered equipment and vehicles, diagnosing system malfunctions, and performing preventive maintenance.

Flexibility with shifts and occasional cross-shop coverage is required. Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational automotive training, valid California driver’s license, ASE A5, and

Responsibilities

Perform state-regulated smog inspections and repairs.
Repair, overhaul, replace and rebuild water and fuel pumps, air conditioning components, compressors, radiators, etc.
Disassemble components and inspect parts for wear.
Diagnose and repair malfunctions to all systems.
Tune and perform repairs to diesel engines.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance inspections and checks.
