Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of dental treatment coordination experience required.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient care consultations during visits, and educate patients on optimal treatment.
  • Calculate fees for proposed treatment and secure a financial commitment from the patient.
  • Offer patient alternate means of payment, such as third-party financing, as applicable.
  • Greet and welcome patients.
  • Educate patients on the health risks of not receiving proper treatment.
  • Explain the treatment plan, address patient concerns, and answer any questions.
  • Conduct financial consultations with all new patients and with existing patients when new treatment plans are presented.
  • Understand the practice’s policy on working with dental benefit plans and be prepared to educate patients on their dental benefits.
  • Track patient accounts receivable and outstanding balances to ensure timely payment.
  • Perform general office duties and other duties as required.
Requirements:

Must have a current CPR certificate. Knowledge and experience with dental treatment/insurance plans required. Commitment to quality patient care and enjoy educating patients on dental health. Effective communication skills; demonstrates professional and courteous demeanor with patients.
