Job summary

CACI seeks a SME Software Developer - REMOTE to support a major Navy program. The role emphasizes technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and risk assessment across the software lifecycle.

You will translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications, review architecture for secure design, and advise on agile practices, builds, releases and verification coverage. A Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline with 15+ years of agile software development experience.
• Experience with Agile methodology, requirements definition, Scrum, contract data requirements list creation, editing and delivery, system documentation, customer support, and Scrum practices including point estimations, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Experience leading teams, client delivery, and facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

More About the Role

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
• Evaluate the implementation of software assurance activities software engineering planning across the system life cycle and program documentation.
• Review architecture and design for adherence to secure design principles and assess soundness of architectural decisions.
• Apply a system-wide perspective when evaluating software build/release/increment artifacts to identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Advise on requirements development in an agile environment, architecture definition/decomposition, testing philosophies/methodologies, and verification coverage.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$114,600-$252,100
