Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an information technology related field.
• 15+ years of professional IT experience.
• 15+ years in data governance, data analysis, or data management in a large enterprise.
• Experience in data stewardship, data cataloging, business glossary development, and metadata enrichment.
• High proficiency in industry standard data governance and management methodologies.
• Ability to successfully complete and maintain a public trust investigation.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop project work plans, manage technical resources, and direct execution to deliver on scope, quality, and performance.
• Direct IT governance, board charter development, strategic roadmap management, and oversight of compliance and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Guide enterprise governance strategy and lead teams in process redesign and performance optimization.
• Serve as the principal liaison with executive-level stakeholders.
• Refine IT Governance Board (ITGB) strategy, processes, and activities.
• Redesign the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and implement automation.
• Assist the agency in identifying AI use cases and overseeing the development of AI packages.
• Track, review, and interpret various laws, regulations, and policies impacting the agency.
• Identify requirements and revise MOUs as necessary to ensure ongoing compliance.
