Project Background: Provide the client with enterprise Business Intelligence reporting. We utilize data from the Oracle system combined with data from other applications, examples Travel Management / Direct Access (employee information), and files / crosswalks to create dashboards, reports, and data extracts.

Position Description

This role will provide use of the Data Bricks enterprise Business Intelligence reporting tool. This will include hands‑on functional development of dashboards, visualizations, reports, and extracts within the Data Bricks tool encompassing the complete Report Development Life Cycle (RDLC) of requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and operations & maintenance.

Tasks/Responsibilities

• Create dashboards, visualizations, reports, and data extracts using Data Bricks
• Report Development Life Cycle (RDLC)
  • Working individually and as part of the team with the client staff to gather and finalize requirements
  • Working individually and as part of the team in dashboards, visualizations, reports and data extracts designs
  • Working individually and as part of the team in dashboards, visualizations, reports and data extracts development
  • Working individually and as part of the team in dashboards, visualizations, reports and data extracts testing and validation
  • Working individually and as part of the team in dashboards, visualizations, reports and data extracts operations & maintenance
• Create Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
• Create Technical Design Documents (TDDs)
• Lead and assist in providing training and demonstrations
• Internal team cross‑review
• Status tracking

Required Skills

• US Citizenship Required / Background Investigation required to attain favorable entry on duty (EOD)
• BS Degree
• 2–5 years of experience (within the last 7 years) working Federal Financials within a Federal Agency
• Data Bricks experience (must have)
• Experience with big data
• Excellent writing skills – ability to write professional quality documents
• Excellent oral communications skills and the ability to make a positive contribution in meetings

Desired Skills

• Experience of performing reporting tasks for full‑lifecycle Federal reporting project that is of similar size and scope
