Job summary

Prescient Edge seeks a SME- Counterintelligence (CI) Specialist to support a federal government client in Huntsville, AL. The role requires identifying and assessing foreign intelligence efforts, producing all-source CI studies, and developing CI strategies under DoD authorities.

Required experience includes extensive CI work and a Master’s degree or equivalent; a TS/SCI clearance with poly or ability to obtain one is needed, with a strong emphasis on training and instruction in collection

Qualifications

• Graduate of the Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or Military Service equivalent is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Identify, monitor, and assess foreign intelligence efforts attempting collection of sensitive national security information on U.S. persons, activities, and interests.
• Performs in-depth analytic research and production of all-source CI studies. Contribute to developing CI strategies for the organization.
• Research and apply foreign intelligence capabilities/activities and the U.S. and foreign partner CI capabilities and TTPs.
• Conduct, develop, produce, and present programs of instruction in specified collection operations TTPs, and related or supporting processes, relevant to the various human intelligence and technical intelligence operations under DoD authorities.

Education

Security Clearance

• Security clearance required TS/SCI with a CI POLY or the ability to obtain one.

Job Requirements Description

• Identify, monitor, and assess foreign intelligence efforts attempting collection of sensitive national security information on U.S. persons, activities, and interests, including threats posed by emerging technologies to U.S. operations and interests.


• Performs in-depth analytic research and production of all‑source CI studies. Contribute to developing CI strategies for the organization.


• Research and apply foreign intelligence capabilities/activities and the U.S. and foreign partner CI capabilities and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).


• Conduct, develop, produce, and present programs of instruction in specified collection operations TTPs, and related or supporting processes, relevant to the various human intelligence and technical intelligence operations under DoD authorities.

Desired Experience

• 20 years of experience relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Desired Education

• Master’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.


• Graduate of the in-residence Fundamentals of Intelligence Analysis course or Military Service equivalent is highly desired.

Required Certification

• Defense Counterintelligence Accreditation Course, or MDCO equivalent: Army CI Special Agent Course (CISAC), MAGTF CI/HUMINT Basic Course, NCIS Special Agent Basic Training Program (SABTP), or AFOSI Academy/FLETC
