Job Overview

This position offers opportunities to work on revolutionary systems impacting global security and technology. The role involves managing engineering teams, overseeing program execution, and collaborating across multiple locations including Bellevue, NE, Huntsville, AL, Newport News, VA, and Space Park, CA. The candidate will report directly to the GC2S Engineering Director and be part of the engineering leadership team.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage engineering execution, support reviews, and establish technical baselines.
  • Implement and oversee common engineering processes and metrics.
  • Conduct engineering reviews and confirm technical solutions for proposals.
  • Lead engineering focus areas and initiatives across disciplines.
  • Manage staffing, talent development, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and foster a positive engineering culture.
Basic Qualifications
  • BS in a STEM field or relevant technical experience.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in technical oversight, program execution, and organizational management.
  • Current Secret Clearance and ability to maintain it.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS in Systems Engineering or related fields.
  • 7-10 years’ experience with workforce management tools.
  • 10-15 years’ experience in engineering management and program execution.
Additional Details

Salary Range: $178,500 - $257,700. Benefits include health insurance, paid holidays, PTO, and potential bonuses. The application period is approximately 20 days from posting. Northrop Grumman is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
