Down to Earth is hiring an Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems supporting healthy landscapes across client properties in Florida. The role emphasizes efficient water use, system performance, and safety, with hands-on outdoor work and strong diagnostic skills.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of irrigation experience, knowledge of irrigation components, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with irrigation components and repair techniques.
• Mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
• 2–4 years hands-on irrigation experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair irrigation systems including valves, heads, piping, wiring, and controllers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues such as leaks, low pressure, or coverage problems.
• Program controllers for proper watering schedules and efficiency.
• Perform seasonal start-ups, system audits, and winterization as required.
• Maintain service records and communicate findings clearly.
