Job summary

High Power Technical Services (HPTS) is hiring Smart Home Technicians to install and service DISH Network equipment, Starlink internet, Boost Mobile devices, and OnTech Smart Home products across Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio.

Technicians work with customers in a home setting, use hand tools, and lift up to 50 lbs. The role offers paid training at $18/hour, potential raises to $22/hour with reviews at 4 and 12 months, and performance/safety bonus opportunities.

Job description

High Power Technical Services (HPTS), DISH Network's Regional Service Provider for Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio, is hiring Smart Home Technicians.

Technicians install and service:

• DISH Network satellite TV equipment
• Starlink satellite internet
• Boost Mobile devices
• OnTech Smart Home products

• Hourly pay + paid training ($18/hr during training)
• Performance raises: $2increase after training, with reviews at 4 and 12 months (up to $22/hr within first year)
• Earn up to an additional $800 per month in performance and safety bonus pay
• 40 hours PTO after 6 months

Minimum Requirements

• 21+ years old with a valid driver's license
• Clean criminal and driving record
• Pass pre-employment drug screening
• Comfortable using hand tools and working outdoors in all weather
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and access crawl spaces/attics
• Customer-focused with willingness to sell products and services
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
