Job Description

We are looking for SAVANT Low Voltage System programmers! The ideal candidate is a motivated audio-video programmer with real-world, in-the-field experience. Must have knowledge of pre-wire, alarm systems, smart home equipment installation, home networking, and surveillance systems (cameras). The candidate should demonstrate experience with AV systems and be able to communicate technical concepts effectively. Please no pro-audio or sound engineers.

Responsibilities include:

• Low voltage wiring
• Trim-out
• Equipment installation
• Equipment rack building
• Computer skills
• Programming of low voltage systems

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years in the custom audio/video installation industry as an in-the-field installer. Do not apply if you have never worked in low voltage before.
• Thorough knowledge of audio-video, alarm, and related technologies including low voltage wiring.
• Own set of tools and a clean driving record. Company vehicle provided.
• Passionate about technology and the custom integration field.
• Excellent people and customer service skills.
• Desire to work hard in a professional company.
• Excellent communication skills and etiquette for high-end residential environments.
• Comfortable working in high-end residential homes in the Los Angeles area.

Systems include:

Audio-Video, Alarm, CCTV Security, Communications, Computers/Networking, Automation, Lighting Control, Shades, Alarm Systems, Low Voltage Structured Wiring, etc.

Plus experience with:

• Control4, Crestron, Savant, Lutron, Elk, Honeywell, Doorking, and other control systems.
