Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Product Analytics professional to support the strategic management of a $55M annual portfolio. You will analyze performance, track initiatives, and help prioritize investments with Product, Pricing, and Strategy teams to drive growth and portfolio optimization.

The role requires strong analytical and financial modeling skills, Excel and BI fluency, and the ability to present findings to senior leaders. MBA preferred, 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in product analytics, portfolio management, strategy, finance, or a related analytical role.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in Excel/data analysis tools; experience with BI platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio performance, customer adoption trends, churn metrics and key business metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support roadmap planning and product prioritization by synthesizing data and stakeholder input.
• Build business cases and financial models, incorporating market, competitor, and customer analysis.
• Track initiative progress against targets and measure financial impact of key investments.
• Prepare clear, insight-driven reports and presentations for leadership reviews.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Pricing, and Strategy to align priorities and inform decision-making.
