Job summary

NRG Energy—through its Vivint Smart Home division—has an opening for a Field Service Technician/Professional in Princeton, TX. You will install cutting-edge smart home tech and proactively identify upgrades to provide customers with total peace of mind.

You will represent Vivint as the face of the brand while delivering exceptional service. We offer comprehensive paid training, a take-home company vehicle and gas card, a 4/10 work schedule, 10 paid holidays, 2 weeks of PTO, a 401(k) with 6%

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail, B2C, insurance, or service-based sales is a plus.
• Customer-first attitude with rapport-building skills.
• Technical aptitude for installations and troubleshooting is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative on-site sales to evaluate and upgrade equipment or services.
• Training homeowners on how to use the new system for safety and peace of mind.
• Pursuing growth through coaching and leadership opportunities within the national organization.
