Job summary

Feit Electric in Pico Rivera, CA is seeking a Business Unit Manager / Director for Smart (LIFX + Feit Electric Smart) to own the strategy, growth, and end-to-end lifecycle of the Smart portfolio.

You will lead a cross-functional team of PMs and PDMs, partner with Marketing, Engineering, and Sales to drive revenue, margins, and product launches. This on-site role offers substantial leadership opportunity in a fast-growing connected lighting business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in senior product, GM, or business leadership roles—ideally in smart home, IoT hardware, consumer electronics, or connected lighting.
• Strong market and financial acumen with P&L experience.

Responsibilities

• Own smart category strategy, growth plan, and P&L.
• Drive online and retail growth through partnerships with Marketing & Branding.
• Own product pipeline, gate readiness, and launch sequencing.
• Develop portfolio expansions and new SKUs.
• Collaborate on GTM and channel storytelling with Product Marketing.
• Prioritize hardware, firmware, app, and cloud investments.
• Coach and develop PMs and PDMs; ensure roadmap clarity.
• Build a high-ownership team culture and data-driven decision making.
