Location: Buffalo, NY – Remote

Duration: 6 Month – Contract to Hire (CTH)

• Drive execution of Smart Factory projects following Waterfall and/or Agile management methodologies ensuring completion to meet targeted business objectives.
• Collaborates with Product Owner to develop and coordinate plant rollout schedules, communication plans, and change management strategy to implement Smart Factory use cases across sites.
• Manage vendor relationships, driving project execution, accountability for deliverables, adherence to quality, and meeting targeted business objectives.
• Collaborate with Enterprise IT functions (i.e. Enterprise Architecture, Data & Analytics, Digital Risk Mgmt.) to ensure design and implementation of secure Smart Factory technologies aligning with Enterprise Strategy, adhering to standards and best practices #CORP123
• Manage system integrators, (on shore and offshore) developers, and PLC programmers to ensure productivity, proper direction, and adherence to standards for project related activities.
• Ensures the development and execution of high level testing plans for integration and system testing in order to identify potential defects and minimize problems within the application after it is implemented.
• Clearly communicates business and technical concepts verbally and in writing, including the use of context diagrams, development of application support documentation, and use of tools to communicate effectively.
• Researches new technologies, capabilities and trends, and effectively recommends innovative technology solutions to solve complex business problems, aligning to Rich’s Smart Factory Vision.
• May be responsible for daily support/maintenance of newly implemented Smart Factory systems.
• Hands on configuration/development and integration of systems with IT systems to support Smart Factory initiatives.
• May be responsible to manage a team for project execution to ensure timeline and deliverables are met.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, MIS, CS or related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in application development, and/or system integration.
• 5 years of project management experience.
• Passion for innovation, learning new technology, and willingness to take risks.In depth and broad knowledge of computing technologies, PC, applications, networks and other related systems.
• Demonstrated leadership; proven track record of leading complex, multidisciplinary talent teams in new endeavors and delivering solutions.
• Experience with defining enterprise-wide Smart Factory solutions based on loosely defined requirements. Strategy setting and future visioning will be a significant component of this position.
• Strong cross-cultural agility, business acumen, and strong leadership/ influencing skills - proven track record of acting as a valued partner to senior leadership
• Collaborate effectively with a wide range of business and technical stakeholders at all levels, maintaining credibility and serving as a trusted adviser.
• Understanding of the different types of agile principles, methodologies and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at the enterprise level.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts.

• Experience in Manufacturing Operations.
• Experience with implementing smart manufacturing, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 technologies, such as SCADA, MES, IIoT, Advanced Analytics, etc.
