We are looking for a smart contract engineer to join us in building critical infrastructure for DeFi: open and community-driven software that lets users manage risk.

Who we are

Cozy Finance is building risk management software for DeFi.

We believe that open and community-driven financial applications are the future and that effective risk management plays a critical role in achieving their potential.

Market opportunity: assets stored in smart-contract based applications continues to rise, recently breaking $30B on Ethereum "DeFi" applications alone. However, user funds are not safe and there is unmet demand for protective products.

Product opportunity: we are building novel risk management software with properties currently unavailable to the market. We believe this is one of the missing primitives for protecting user funds in DeFi.

Company opportunity: we are serial entrepreneurs and crypto veterans (former founders with exits and experience at Rare Bits, Multicoin Capital, FanDuel, Decentraland, McKinsey, and Google) looking to build a dream team. We've assembled a group of all-star backers to support us (like Electric, Dragonfly, Variant, Slow, Robert Leshner, and more).

Responsibilities

• Protocol Architecture: work with the team to research, design, and test mechanisms that seve the needs of the Cozy ecosystem
• Application Development: implement, test, and deploy web3 interfaces that are easy and effective to use
• Software Development: implement and test open-source software that is used to interact with smart contracts
• Team Building: work with the team to create and foster a culture of raising the bar with each new hire
