Job summary

Crebit is hiring a Smart Contract Engineer to own critical on-chain contracts and the cross-chain FX settlement paths. You will work in a tight-knit team, shipping production-ready Solidity and Anchor contracts for a fiat-to-stablecoin FX layer.

Expect rigorous testing, audits, and collaboration with top-tier auditors. The role is on-site in San Francisco, CA, with a compensation package including a $250K base salary plus equity and a $2,000 annual learning budget.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Solidity and on-chain contracts.
• Experience with cross-chain integrations and audits.
• Familiar with formal verification and fuzzing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Own the deposit-lock contract on Solana and EVM, including spec, ship, and audit.
• Design the cross-chain settlement path with the protocol engineer.
• Write the test suite using Hardhat/Foundry and property-based fuzzing.
• Collaborate with external auditors (Trail of Bits, OtterSec) during releases.

Crebit moves billions across borders on stablecoin rails. Your code holds the customer deposit for every rate lock we ship. You'll own the Solidity / Anchor contracts that secure FX hedges from 3 hours to 180 days, ship audits, and design the next chain integrations.

About The Role

We're a small team building the FX layer that powers cross-border money for fintechs, neobanks, and consumers in 10+ countries. You'll be early — your code will be in production within your first two weeks. You might be a fit if

• You've shipped production contracts on Solana (Anchor) or an EVM L2, ideally with > $50M TVL.
• You can read your own assembly when something goes sideways at 2 a.m.
• You enjoy the boring parts: tests, fuzzing, formal verification, audits.
• You've done at least one cross-chain integration end-to-end (bridges, oracles, settlement).

What you\'ll do

• Own the deposit-lock contract on Solana + EVM. Spec, ship, audit.
• Design the cross-chain settlement path with our protocol engineer.
• Write the test suite — hardhat / foundry + property-based fuzzing.
• Work directly with our auditors (Trail of Bits, OtterSec) on release cycles.
