Job summary

Siemens Smart Buildings invites ambitious undergraduates to join our Summer 2026 Smart Buildings Fire & Life Safety Sales Internship in Raleigh, NC. You will work with Sales Managers to support lead generation, prospecting, and CRM data management, gaining hands-on experience in a real-world, safety-focused environment.

You must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate, rising junior or senior, pursuing engineering or business with a technical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate at an accredited 4-year U.S. college or university.
• Majors: Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Energy/Sustainability, Built Environment, Construction Management or Business Administration, Sales/Marketing with technical aptitude.
• Preferred: participation in a school sales/engineering club or similar.
• Earliest Graduation Date: Rising Junior or Senior.
• Availability: 40 hours per week for 10 weeks (May–July or June–August).
• Relocation: No relocation assistance or housing stipend provided; must work at the branch office vicinity.
• Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Sales Managers and Sales Executives within the local branch office.
• Assist the sales team with lead generation, prospecting, and account outreach.
• Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
• Help manage CRM data by tracking leads and maintaining data accuracy.
• Shadow sales calls and meetings to learn effective sales techniques.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support customer engagement.
• Analyze sales performance data and provide insights for growth.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve sales processes.
