Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a System Specialist to verify BAS programming, configure networked building systems, and support field testing on active construction sites. You will ensure alignment with project scope, commission systems, and provide clear documentation for engineering records.

The role requires a high school diploma, with an associates in electronics preferred, and at least five years in mechanical systems or facilities management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associates Degree in electronics or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years in mechanical systems or facilities management, plus two (2) years writing computer programs for BAS.
• Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication; proficient in PC apps, word processing, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Verifies system database and programming aligned with project scope and engineered sequence of operations.
• Configures building infrastructure networks to integrate smart building technologies.
• Assists troubleshooting and resolves inconsistencies in operations and sequences.
• Sets up and configures network devices, workstations, and user interfaces.
