Job summary

Kids for the Future seeks an Installation Specialist to install and commission systems at customer sites in Houston, TX. You will follow project documentation and directions to ensure proper wiring, panel installation, and system startup across diverse sites.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least two years in electrical or control systems installation, plus familiarity with construction processes. Drug screening is required and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma.
Two years as an electrician or control systems installer.
Technical Associates or Journeyman’s electrical license, preferred.
Must understand current building electrical code.
Familiar with trade work of electricians and the construction process.
Background and drug screening will be required for each applicant.

Responsibilities

Install equipment within the project’s specifications and recommend modifications to improve performance or meet operating requirements.
Customer jobsite installation of the company’s system and equipment according to project documentation and directions from PM/Foreman.
Maintain high standards of professional conduct and quality workmanship while representing the company on customer projects.
