Job summary

DHL Express is seeking a CVG Hub Operations Lead to establish and execute policies for moving outbound and inbound cargo through the hub. The role ensures processes meet customer and internal requirements, are organized, efficient, and safe.

Responsibilities include overseeing package/freight handling, training, tracking progress of staff, multi-tasking across teams, and identifying hazardous goods for proper segregation and handling.

Qualifications

• Experience with training within the Unloads, Primary and Smalls area.
• Leadership skills required to manage teams.
• Good communication skills and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes packages/freight within the hub.
• Issues documents verifying the training process to applicable department(s).
• Ensures training of each employee meets company standards during processing.
• Works closely with new hires and tracks progress of each employee.
• Directs multiple employees and can multi-task.
• Identifies and segregates non-conforming and dangerous goods cargo.
