Job description

Take ownership of the work that keeps our clients’ homes running beautifully long after the build is done. As Small Projects Manager, you’ll lead our handyman, repair, and home maintenance work, the smaller-scale projects and service calls that protect relationships with the homeowners we’ve built and remodeled for. This is a hands-on, high-trust role for someone who’s equal parts craftsman and coordinator: you’ll scope the work, line up the right people, keep clients informed, and make sure every job gets done right. If you take pride in responsiveness, quality, and being the person clients know they can count on, this is a chance to build a standout service experience under a name homeowners already trust.

We are seeking a Small Projects Manager to lead our home maintenance and small-scale project work for existing and past clients. This role covers everything from handyman repairs and punch-list items to small remodels, warranty work, and ongoing home maintenance. You will be the primary point of contact for these clients, scoping work, providing estimates, scheduling and coordinating tradespeople, and ensuring each project is completed on time, on budget, and to our standard of quality. The role blends light fieldwork with project coordination, and is ideal for someone who can both swing a hammer and manage the details.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Serve as the primary contact for small-project and maintenance clients, responding promptly and keeping them informed throughout.
  • Scoping & Estimating: Assess requests, define scope, and provide clear, accurate estimates for small jobs and repairs.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Schedule and dispatch in-house labor and subcontractors to keep work moving efficiently.
  • Hands-On Work: Perform select repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks directly when appropriate.
  • Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets our standards and the client’s expectations.
  • Billing & Documentation: Track time and materials, manage job documentation, and ensure timely, accurate invoicing.
  • Warranty & Punch Items: Manage warranty requests and punch-list follow-up from completed builds and remodels.

  • Broad hands-on knowledge of home systems, repairs, and general construction tasks.
  • Ability to scope work, estimate accurately, and manage multiple small jobs at once.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with comfort using basic project and scheduling tools.

  • Customer Focus: A genuine commitment to taking care of homeowners and protecting relationships.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical work and navigate construction sites, including climbing ladders and scaffolding, and lifting 50+ lbs.
