Job Title: Small Parts Assembler
Department: Manufacturing / Production
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Location: Canonsburg PA
Job Type: Full Time
Shift: Weekend Days Friday - Sunday 6:00am -6:00pm 12 Hour Shifts Mostly Seated

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Small Parts Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling small components and subassemblies to build final products in accordance with production specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble small parts using hand tools, power tools, or automated equipment.

  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, schematics, or assembly instructions.

  • Inspect components and finished products for defects to ensure they meet quality standards.

  • Perform basic testing or calibration of assembled units as required.

  • Maintain accurate production records and complete necessary documentation.

  • Keep work area clean and organized following safety and 5S standards.

  • Report any issues with materials, tools, or processes to supervisors.

  • Meet production targets and timelines consistently.

  • Assist with inventory control and material handling as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred but not required.

  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

  • Ability to use small hand tools and measuring instruments.

  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.

  • Basic math and reading skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to [X lbs] for extended periods.

Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • May involve exposure to small parts, adhesives, chemicals, or soldering materials.
