Job summary

Excel Fitness is seeking a motivated Team Player to deliver high-quality PE@PF training in our Warrenton club. The role involves designing personalized programs, leading small group sessions, and maintaining equipment and club standards.

You will engage members daily, promote the program, and provide ongoing motivation while collaborating with the GM and front-desk staff. A strong certification and safety mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active Personal Training Certification; begin recertification 1 month before expiry.
• Uncertified Team Players may complete a Trainer Certification within 30 days.
• CPR/AED certification required; recertification within 30 days of employment.
• Proven ability to lead, encourage, develop, and supervise others.
• Familiar with Excel’s mission, values, vision, and Planet Fitness brand.
• Ability to run successful small group sessions with members.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized.
• Think critically and evaluate solutions proactively.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Train members in PE@PF small group sessions throughout shifts.
• Design individualized exercise programs based on member goals and medical background.
• Submit training programs and logs to GM for review.
• Inspect equipment for malfunctions and report findings.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance like lubrication and inspections.
• Log attendance and training data in club management software.
• Monitor member safety and correct equipment usage on the floor.
• Engage members to drive loyalty and promote PE@PF sessions.
• Support members in achieving personal fitness goals.
• Communicate professionally with members and staff; attend events as needed.
