Job summary

Texas Disposal Systems, Inc. Qualifications

• At least one year of experience with mechanical repair (e.g., automotive, power equipment, refrigeration, small engine).
• Time management skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; must communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Wear PPE when and where required.
• Perform basic inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs following guidelines on small equipment.
• Create and process work orders.
• Document repair operations and time-tracking per procedures.
• Assist coworkers with diagnostics and repairs.
• Requisition parts through Purchasing Department.
• Conduct technical inspections and document findings.
• Maintain repair order documentation (repairs, parts, times).
• Perform monthly inventories as required.
• Ensure work area is clean and neat.
• Comply with safety policies and applicable regulations.
• Immediately report safety violations and correct unsafe acts or conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
