Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a Small Engine Technician (Mechanic) at our Phoenix facility. You’ll perform maintenance and repair on a variety of rental and customer equipment, using real-time data to troubleshoot and improve efficiency.

You’ll work Monday–Friday, with on-call shifts and overtime. The role offers training on OEM programs and a path to career growth in a fast-paced, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Must own tools applicable to position.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an understanding of schematics/diagrams.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Use shop tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders.
• Track machine service intervals and diagnose issues using data.
• Order parts and maintain documentation of work performed (work orders).
• Diagnose issues quickly and determine root cause and corrective action.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
