Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) for our Phoenix facility. You will maintain and repair a variety of heavy equipment and aerial lifts, using data-driven insights to diagnose issues and minimize downtime.

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with overtime after 40 hours and potential on-call duties with extra pay. You will work on the newest fleet and travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and schematics is preferred.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of heavy equipment, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems.
• Use laptops/tablets to manage work orders and track service intervals.
• Order parts and diagnose issues by reading data from equipment.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain electronic work orders and documentation daily.
• Assist with equipment and parts pickup/delivery.
• Travel to customer sites for repairs when required.
• Participate in OEM training and stay updated on equipment.
