LandPro Equipment is seeking a skilled Small Engine Road Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain small agricultural and turf equipment at customer locations throughout New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. This role requires hands-on problem solving, independence, and a focus on doing the job right the first time.

You will travel to customer sites to diagnose issues, perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs, and keep customers informed with clear timelines.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience performing equipment service repairs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience diagnosing and repairing small engines.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostics.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete digital work orders.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to provide your own tools for the role.

A Day in the Life of a Small Engine Road Service Technician

As a Small Engine Road Service Technician, you play a key role in keeping our customers’ equipment running and minimizing downtime when they need us most.

You’ll travel to customer locations to diagnose, repair, and maintain small agricultural and turf equipment in the field. One stop may involve troubleshooting an engine issue, while the next may be preventative maintenance or an urgent repair to get a customer back up and running.

This is a role for someone who enjoys independence, hands‑on problem solving, and taking pride in fixing things the right way.

You’ll work independently in the field but always with the support of a team behind you.

Every day is different, but the goal is always the same: do the job right and take care of the customer.

What You’ll Do

• ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostics
• basic computer skills and ability to complete digital work orders
• ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly
• valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• ability to provide your own tools for the role

It’s a plus if you have:

• experience with John Deere, turf, or agricultural equipment
• previous road service or mobile technician experience
• experience using Service Advisor or similar diagnostic software
• ability to mentor or train technician trainees
